This function allows customers to place orders directly
with Burrows. With the exception of drop-ship only
products, all products available in the Burrows product
catalog can be purchased using this method. Order
templates can be built with customer specific product
information to help streamline the ordering process.
Using these templates, customers can simplify and
reduce the time and data entry requirements for placing
orders.
e-Confirm:
Customers can use this function to view all order
confirmations regardless of how the orders were received
by Burrows (i.e. phone, fax, EDI). Confirmations include
customer purchase order number, Burrows invoice number,
manufacturer product number, customer product number,
order/ship/back order quantities, unit-of-measure
ordered, product description, price, and extended
price.
e-Catalog:
Search the Burrows online product catalog for pricing and
availability information. Comprehensive search criteria
support various methods for browsing the online catalog.
Search techniques include entering single- or multiple-keyword
description text, partial or complete manufacturer product number
information, Burrows catalog number, or UPN
number to help narrow down your search requests. Need more
information? The search results provide links to our
manufacturers' websites where additional product information
can be obtained. Along with pricing and availability
information, product search results include product ordering
unit-of-measures, product packaging, product price, and if linked
to a contract, the contract number and contract begin/end dates.
e-Datacenter:
Customers can access purchase history information
that is stored in the company's data warehouse. The
information provided includes: total purchases by
month with a "drill-down" capability to view by manufacturer
and within manufacturer by product number.
